Poll Results (November, 2005)

Yes: 68% (136)
No: 32% (64)

  • Stem cell and biotech research is the only possible solution to many medical problems.
  • Do you really think a policy is going to stop progress?
  • Support from the Fed is not needed. Support from the Market is. Since application of the research is more speculative than factual at this point the Market will not respond.
  • Stem cell research is just one avenue of discovery - we should not allow our efforts to be limited to this path.
  • A clear, pro-stem cell policy is important to the future of biotech in the USA and WA State.
  • You gotta be joking. Good luck to all the cellular therapy folks dabbling in stem cells! A silver bullet for everything from diabetes to male pattern baldness.
  • States funding stem cell research have an advantage regarding the recruitment of great minds.
