Banner/Graphic Advertising Requirements

  • Graphics File Format: GIF or JPEG Format.
  • Vertical Banner Dimensions: 120 (w) x 60 (h) pixels @ 72 dpi (Maximum file size 10k).
  • Horizontal Banner Dimensions: 468 (w) x 60 (h) pixels @ 72 dpi (Maximum file size 15k).
  • Target URL's must be active at the time of the banner submission.
  • Info.Resource will not display banners with inoperable URL's.
  • Animated GIFs are accepted.
  • Image maps are accepted.
  • Java banners are currently not accepted.


How to Submit a Community Service Ad

  • Organization must review and accept MaineLifeScience.com Advertising Guidelines for the use of the site.

  • Please e-mail banner(s)/graphics) as an individual attachment(s) with target URL to: CommunityService@InfoResource.org and include which state sites that you want your community service advertising posted. Note that images contained within a Word document are not acceptable.

  • Submission MUST include the name of the individual submitting the banner/graphic, contact e-mail address and phone number for communication purposes.

  • Upon receipt, the banner/graphic will be posted by Info.Resource in the selected state site(s), typically within 24 hours, and the advertiser notified via e-mail of ad posting for review and modification, as appropriate.
